Welcome!

Hey guys!

Anyone wondering what JC stands for? If you're thinking what I'm thinking, you are correct. That's right! Jesus Christ. (Please, don't roll your eyes at me.) Yeah, I know what you're thinking: Oh, no! Not another Jesus FREAK! Well, I hate to disappoint you, but I am a believer, Christian, and even a Jesus FrEaK (If that's what you want to label me as, that's o.k. by me.) But the main reason why I've decided to start this blog, is not only to proclaim my love for Jesus, but to explain the many reasons behind my love for Him. I believe that by doing so, my audience, (you guys), may be more receptive to what I have to say about Him.

In addition to that, I would like to give you a little inside scoop on who He REALLY is. I am aware that He has been misrepresented by many. As a result, many misconceptions, preconceived notions, and stereotypical beliefs have been formed about Him. Many are skeptical. Others believe God is a superstition. And still others, believe that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is nothing more than a folkloric tale; told from generation to generation. But what if it's not? What if He's real and alive? Sitting at right hand of God, eager to be allowed into your heart? Eager to show you His love, compassion, mercy, and grace? Eager to bring you hope, salvation, and forgiveness? What if these are not just empty words, recited from generation to generation. What if these words are full of life-giving truth?

What then?

Think about it.

Isaiah 53

No words from me today. Simply words from Isaiah 53:

"Who has believed our message?
To whom has the LORD revealed [H]is powerful arm?"

"My [S]ervant grew up in the LORD's presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about [H]is appearance, nothing to attract us to [H]im."

"He was despised and rejected-a [M]an of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on [H]im and looked the other way. He was despised and we did not care."

"Yet it was our weaknesses [H]e carried; it was our sorrows that weighted [H]im down.
And we thought [H]is troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for [H]is own sins!"

"But [H]e was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so that we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed."

(Amen! Hallelujah! Glory be to God Everlastingly!)

"All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.
We have left God's path to follow our own.
Yet the LORD laid on [H]im the sins of us all."

"He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet [H]e never said a word.
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.
And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, [H]e did not open [H]is mouth."

"Unjustly condemned, [H]e was led away.
No one cared that [H]e died without descendants, that [H]is life was cut short in midstream.
But [H]e was struck down for the rebellion of my people."

"He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone.
But [H]e was buried like a criminal; [H]e was put in a rich man's grave."

"But is was the LORD's good plan to crush [H]im and cause [H]im grief.
Yet when [H]is life is made an offering for sin, [H]e will have many descendants.
He will enjoy a long life, and the LORD's good plan will prosper in [H]is hands."

(Amen! Hallelujah! Glory be to God Everlastingly! For He has made all things new, through, by, and with the Precious and Ultimate Sacrifice of His Son-Jesus Christ! So let us praise, and give thanks to the LORD our God, who has graciously made provision for the atonement of our sins, through the sacrifice of His Holy Lamb-our Precious LORD and Savior-Jesus Christ! Amen! Hallelujah! Glory be to God! From Everlasting to Everlasting! Amen, Amen, and Amen!)

"When [H]e sees all that is accomplished by [H]is anguish, [H]e will be satisfied.
And because of [H]is experience, my Righteous Servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous,  for [H]e will bear all their sins."

"I will give [H]im the honors of a victorious soldier, because [H]e exposed [H]imself to death.
He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels."

(Isaiah 53:1-12; New Living Translation of the Bible)

All glory, honor, and praise be to God Everlastingly!
Amen, Amen, and Amen!
